YEESO Youth Programme
To improve the quality of life of school-age children, particularly girls, through a programme aimed at encouraging them to stay in education.
Between 2022 and 2025, a number of initiatives were undertaken as part of the Yeeso Youth Programme to remove the barriers girls face in accessing education.
– Improved learning conditions
– Enhanced access to secondary school through the provision of transport
– Improved nutritional status
– Raising awareness of the importance of staying in school
– Access to an educational environment for young children
We have thus developed a holistic approach to school retention, which is not limited to the academic needs of children and young people, but also engages the whole community. This approach is based on close collaboration with parents, local leaders and community members to create an environment conducive to learning, personal development and keeping girls in school.
