Press release

Establishment of the financial institution Société Bélédougou Niéta Finance (SBNF SA)

Main objective

To increase access to financial services and credit for rural communities by setting up a microfinance company

Description

In 2024, we reached a historic milestone in the professionalisation of the local economy. With the creation of SBNF SA, the village revolving funds became an independent and accredited microfinance institution.

This transformation enables us to offer local, sustainable financial services tailored to rural conditions, ensuring the long-term economic empowerment of local communities.

For Sahel 21-TSF, this new body guarantees the support of an independent entity capable of assisting us in developing microfinance activities within our areas of operation.
