Capacity building in agroecology

In the Kilimanjaro region, TSF collaborated with its local partner, the Tusaidiane Women Group, through a project aimed at strengthening women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, mentoring, and business management training.

These women entrepreneurs have mobilized to transform their future through agriculture. They raise chickens, develop vegetable gardens, experiment with fish farming, and diversify their production in order to improve food security and generate sustainable income for their families.

To consolidate these achievements, an agronomy mandate will serve as a lever to support the women’s groups in improving sustainable agricultural practices, managing inputs, increasing yields, and enhancing the value of local production..
