Over time, thousands of pairs of glasses have been collected and used in eye health projects in Bolivia, Tanzania, Senegal, Peru, the Republic of Congo, Haiti, and several other countries. Our eyeglass program has been remarkably successful: it has provided vision care to thousands of people, equipped clinics, raised awareness in communities, and trained local professionals, ensuring the continuity of services.

Today, building on these results, we are evolving our approach to strengthen local capacities in a sustainable manner, tailored to each context.

In addition, the eyeglass market has evolved, both here and in the countries where we operate, and accessibility has improved considerably. In this context, our need for collected eyeglasses has decreased significantly, and our current inventory allows us to adequately meet demand.

It is therefore with a view to the evolution and sustainability of our actions that we will be ending our eyeglass collection program.

The concrete improvement of access to vision care continues with a new approach. This change marks the evolution of a successful collective effort, made possible thanks to you.
