Drinking water station for l’Île-à-Vache

The social relief program in Haiti, which centres on drinking water and mobile phone charging stations, has grown. First Croix-des-Bouquets was equipped with these stations, and now it’s Île-à-Vache’s turn.
The drinking water situation had become urgent in Île-à-Vache. In addition to contending with critical flaws in the public water supply, residents could no longer go to Les Cayes by boat and stock up because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The health crisis completely cut off the island community, highlighting the need for reliable means of communication. Without a doubt, charging stations are becoming an essential service.
