Improving the resilience of residents in the Vialet region to the impacts of climate change
Action #1: 13 community gardens will be established (2.47 ha) and a community nursery will be set up (0.06 ha) for the Vialet producers’ group.
Action #2: A guide on preventive measures and emergency response protocols for natural disasters, along with a report on training sessions for 200 producers—at least 50% of whom are women—covering agroecology techniques, veterinary care, biomass production and storage during droughts, and the prevention and impacts of natural disasters, will be produced and shared with municipal and departmental authorities.
Action #3: Two agricultural experimental plots will be established to conduct university research.
