Physiothérapie Sans Frontières (PSF) continues to grow at a strong pace through recently established partnerships. In Tanzania, PSF is now working with the physiotherapy department at the Kibosho hospital, where physiotherapists and physical rehabilitation technicians are strengthening local professionals’ skills and sharing key advances in the field.
Thevolunteers at the Kibosho hospital are working in such areas as pediatric rehabilitation and motor development, physical rehabilitation, better diagnoses through patient assessments, and patient treatment plans and file management.
In Senegal,PSF is working with the Association Nationale des Postes de Santé Catholiques du Sénégal (ANPSCS), which represents 76 health structures, including 22 centres with maternity services. The volunteer cooperants who went to Senegal transferred knowledge pertaining to rehabilitation in maternal and gynecological health to midwives and nurses.
