The mission of the educational unit is to provide integral services and to improve the living conditions of people, especially children, living with disabilities and achieve their social, educational and work inclusion through the dynamic participation of families, by raising awareness of the community and promoting continuing education of staff.
Mandate: objectives
Support the strengthening of the skills of physiotherapy service professionals:
- Pediatric rehabilitation, motor development
- Evaluation of patients with neuro-musculoskeletal problems
- Provide better diagnoses and treatment plans for patients
- Learning new approaches and updating knowledge
- Patient records management

Physiotherapist and Physical Rehabilitation Therapists (TRP)

Requirements and skills
Training
Member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ)
Member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec
Work experience
Physiotherapist Head of Mission: 5 years of practice experience (international cooperation mission experience an asset)
Physiotherapist and TRP participants: at least 2 years of practice experience
Occupational therapist: at least 2 years of practice experience
Experience in international cooperation
Previous experience an asset
Work languages
Spanish, english

Funding
Volunteers will have to make a financial contribution to Terre Sans Frontières in the form of fundraising
Mandatory meetings
Before departure, TSF organizes at its offices a pre-departure meeting to prepare the volunteers, as well as a meeting on return, for a return meeting
