In Tanzania, awareness tools have been provided to the health centers we work with to help them train their staff on the protective measures that need to be put in place to counter COVID-19.

A handwashing station was installed at the field office and awareness raising was offered to the local population.

Furthermore, protective equipment including examination gloves, surgical masks, liquid soap, hydroalcoholic gel and thermometers has also been distributed to the Mwanga health centers which are in real need of it.

The intervention was highlighted in an article in the Daily News, a national newspaper in Tanzania.
